Dr. J. Betty Feng is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Management at Farmingdale State College (FSC). At FSC, Betty teaches courses on international business, international management, and global strategy. Betty’s research includes the roles of culture in adaptation, creativity, and intercultural interactions. She is particularly interested in the cultural factors on cognition, creativity, and innovation at the individual and team levels. Betty has published articles in Management and Organization Review, the International Journal of Business Information Systems, Asian Business & Management, Journal of Teaching in International Business, and among other outlets.
Betty has received numerous awards and grants for teaching and research. She is the faculty advisor for New York State Business Plan Competition and International Business Club at Farmingdale. Betty has conducted various workshops for organizations on the subjects of developing intercultural competence and innovation in a diverse workplace.
